** 1914 Commercial DWM Luger P.08 (No-Date)
9mm Parabellum. 4" barrel length. SN: 252K. Single-action pistol with removable aluminum knob 8-shot magazine, stock lug, lanyard ring, and fixed v-notch and blade sights. Blued metal finish and checkered walnut grips. Markings include "DWM" logo to center toggle link, full serial numbers to front of frame and under barrel, several vertical "{crown}/N" proofs and partial serial numbers to small parts. Marked "GESICHERT" under safety toggle. All serial numbers on this item are matching except for the magazine which is marked "2245/U/{mid-WWII German Eagle/63}" to bottom of aluminum knob.
Condition:
Fair to good. Bore is frosty and has some evidence of light pitting to rifling. There is thinning and losses to finish of barrel, slide, frame, and raised surface edges. Slight plum patina developing to grip straps. One spot of active oxidation to right side of slide, and there is faint surface oxidation, possible pitting scattered overall.
