.45 caliber. 5.5" octagonal barrel length. SN: NSN. Double-action only revolver with fixed 6-shot open top cylinder, cartridge extractor rod, spur hammer, and lanyard swivel. Nickel plate finish and plain walnut grips. Item has several Belgian proof marks to cylinder, barrel, and frame.
Condition:
Poor to fair. Bore is dark. Cartridge chambers are dark. There is flaking and losses to finish overall, with surface oxidation occurring to frame and common handled areas. Missing cylinder gate. Item appears to only be double action, hammer does not cock single action style. Cartridge extractor rod is free and does not appear to lock in position. Grips have some scratches, dings, and darkened discolorations.
