.28 caliber, 3.5" octagonal barrel, SN: 12212. Blued finish, smooth walnut grip. Two-line Hartford barrel address with pointing-hand motif, 5-shot round cylinder with Indian & Cabin roll engraved scene. Manufactured in 1856.
Provenance: From the Collection of Charlie Hinton
Good. Retains some traces of original blue on the barrel in protected areas, the balance with a moderately oxidized brownish patina. Cylinder with patches of blue that appear to be old but not factory with strong traces of scene. Barrel markings clear. Mechanically functional, but action is spongey and probably needs some attention. Grip with scattered bumps, dings and mars and retaining some traces of finish.
