Confederate Obsolete Money, 50 c, $1, $5, $10, $20

Lot of 30.

Fifteen 50 cent notes, 6th Issue, Apr. 6, 1863. Nos. 103901, 103903, 103528, 103927, 103934, 103940, 104126, 104231 (all VF or better), 104414 (VF), 140065 (?), 49293, 10353 (VG - F), 37731, 67263 (G-VG), and 127924 (G). {VF examples no folds, still crisp. Many have slight discolorations possibly a result of pink dye in paper.}

Three $1 notes: two 5th issue Dec. 2, 1862, Nos. 27578 C and 87076 (no plate letter noted) {both about VG, soft, missing bits of edges}, and 6th issue, Apr. 6, 1863, No. 6184 C (G - soft, faded, most of "ONE" on right edge missing).

Five $5 notes, all 3rd Issue, Sept. 2, 1861, J.T. Paterson & Co. No. 270694 A10 {Fine, one "burn" hole in "America," top cut off a bit on right, still retains most crispness}; Nos. 210892 A10 and 156248 A11, both with clean + cancel {VG - F, Some wear, esp. edges, soft}; No. 148183 (?) A16 {VG, some paper missing along right edge, still retains some body to paper}; and No. 80985 A15 {G-VG, soft, small amounts of paper missing along bottom, worn and a bit hard to read}. 

Three $10 notes, 7th Issue, Feb. 17, 1864. Nos. 15104, 15546, 15357 {all F-VF, retaining crispness, few if any folds, slight edge wear}.

Four $20 notes, 7th Issue, Feb. 17, 1864. Nos. 39870 A, 75064 D {both VF, crisp, little wear}, 74575 C {F-VF, crisp, 3 folds, a bit of toning along outer folds} and 14841 C {F, retains a bit of crispness, slight scuffing of lower edge, a few folds}.
