9mm Parabellum. 5" barrel length. SN: 2471B. Single-action pistol with removable 8-shot wood knobbed magazine, stock lug, military lanyard ring, and fixed notch and ramp sights. Satin steel finish and checkered off-white plastic grips. Markings include Imperial German military proofs to right side of slide, "DWM" to top of center toggle link, and "1914" marked to front of receiver. There are full serial number markings to front of frame and under barrel, with partial serial numbers to various small parts. Wood-knobbed magazine is marked "1667/g/+".
Condition:
Fair. Locking mechanism is missing inside action. When racked it will load a round, but slide will not lock or stay open when gun is empty and magazine is inserted. Bore is frosty and has heavy oxidation to rifling. This Luger appears to have been refinished with a satin steel finish and off-white plastic grips, pitting is faint but evident under new finish in common handled areas.
