** FN Browning Hi-Power (Argentine Contract) w/ Box
9mm Parabellum. 4.625" barrel length. SN: 06646. Single-action pistol with removable magazine, ring hammer, and fixed u-notch and blade sights. Blued metal finish and checkered black plastic grips. This model appears to be an Argentine contracted Hi-Power for use by the Buenos Aires state police force. It features standard FN manufacturer marks, but also has an Argentine crest to top of slide, and "POLICIA PROV. BS. AIRES-61" to left of slide, indicating it was imported sometime in 1961. Includes F.N. Herstal box and paperwork.
Condition:
Fair to good. Bore is frosty and shows evidence of pitting. This item was handled heavily and shows considerable thinning to finish on slide, lower frame, and grip straps.
