.60 smooth bores flaring to 1" at the muzzle, 6.125" iron octagon to round barrels with baluster turned rings at the transition. Flat stepped locks marked MORTIMER with flat bevelled swan neck cocks. Locks with sliding safeties, waterproof pans & roller frizzens. Snap bayonet on top of barrel. Engraved iron mounts, walnut stocks with checkered grips. Brass tipped wooden ramrods.
Condition:
Very good overall. Barrels with oxidized patina showing twist pattern, furniture with similar coloration due to surface oxidation. Mechanically functional locks and snap bayonets. Stocks crisp with sharp checkering, usual bumps and dings, one with small chip on reverse at breech, one with replaced fore end cap.
