Sixth Plate Daguerreotypes of Gentlemen, Incl. Man Smoking Pipe by Meade Brothers, Group of Six

Lot of 6 sixth plate daguerreotypes of men of varying ages, including:

Portrait of an aged man smoking a clay pipe, housed in a brown pressed paper case, the cover stamped by Meade Brother's Exchange, Albany,  NY, housed in full case separated at hinge. Nice clear image, tarnish ring along perimeter. 

A second view of an aged gentleman wearing a tall-brimmed hat, posed with his cane, housed in full case showing some wear. Some surface wear to plate, including unusual discoloration along right and left edges.

Portrait of a young man wearing a large coat with two rows of buttons, possibly military? Housed in full case showing some significant wear, almost separated at hinge. Portrait is a little dark, but still a nice, clear image. 

Plus 3 views of bearded men, one housed in full case separated at hinge, the second and third portraits uncased. Outside of few scratches, the images are clear. 



All are in good condition.
