.38 S&W Special. 5" barrel length. SN: 908198. Model of 1905 double-action revolver with swing out 6-shot fluted cylinder. Features a military lanyard ring, and fixed notch and blade sights. 4-screw, pin top frame. Black parkerized finish and plain walnut grips. Markings include {broad arrow} acceptance mark to left of frame, a "K" to butt, and "8PI{broad arrow}" to right side of trigger. Serial number is marked to butt.
Condition:
Fair to good. Item appears to have been refinished with a black parkerization at some point. S&W marks are weak overall. Parkerized refinish is flaking on edges overall. Bore is bright with light oxidation present to rifling. Wood grips have darkened and have bites, dings, scratches overall. Lockup has some give. Action is functional.
