Unwin & Rodgers Percussion Knife Pistol
.30 caliber 3.375" octagonal barrel with post-1813 Birmingham commercial proof marks, folding trigger. 3 1/2" spear point knife blade marked UNWIN & RODGERS in two lines on the ricasso. Loading tool and bullet mold retained in grip. German silver mounts, mother-of-pearl grip scales.
Condition:
Very good. Dull patina on metal parts, with darker discoloration on knife blade. Mechanically functional, percussion nipple damaged. Mother-of-pearl scales very nice without the usual damage and chipping. Complete with accessories that are nearly always missing. A very nice example in better condition than usually encountered.
